EquiScore LLC ("EquiScore," "we," "us," or "our") provides mobile apps and related cloud services for recording, reviewing, and analyzing equestrian rides. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to riders, judges, trainers, and other users.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the EquiScore iPhone app, EquiScore Camera app, EquiScore web portal, and related services available at equiscore.com.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account or sign in, we may collect:
- Name
- Email address
- Apple, Google, or Firebase user identifier
- Sign-in provider
- Account role, such as rider, judge, or admin
- Account access status for role-based features
App Activity And Diagnostics
We may collect app activity and diagnostic information, including:
- Sign-in and account creation events
- Session start and end events
- Package creation events
- Upload request events
- Error reports
- Feature usage
- Device, app version, and operational logs needed to troubleshoot the service
Ride Recordings, Scorecards, And Session Content
EquiScore can create ride recordings, scorecards, analysis packages, session metadata, camera logs, and related files.
For rider accounts, ride videos are intended to stay local on the device and in the user's Photos library unless the user explicitly shares them outside the app.
For judge, admin, portal, or other cloud-enabled workflows, uploaded session packages may include recordings, scorecards, analysis files, logs, and session metadata so authorized portal users can review them.
Problem Reports
If you submit a problem report, we may collect the information included in that report, such as:
- Your written description of the problem
- Scorecards and analysis files
- App and camera logs
- Session metadata
- Optional video attachments
Problem reports are used to diagnose issues, improve EquiScore, and provide support.
Photos, Camera, And Local Network Access
EquiScore may request access to the camera, Photos, and the local network:
- Camera access is used to record or preview rides.
- Photos access is used when you choose an existing video for analysis or save recordings to Photos.
- Local network access is used so the master iPhone and camera iPhones can discover and communicate with each other on the same Wi-Fi network.
EquiScore does not use local network discovery to track your location. Cloud requests may include standard technical information such as IP address as part of normal internet communication.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users through Apple, Google, Firebase, or other supported sign-in providers
- Record, package, and analyze ride sessions
- Save local scorecards and recordings
- Provide judging portal uploads and read-only portal access where enabled
- Troubleshoot errors and problem reports
- Understand app usage and improve features
- Protect the security and integrity of EquiScore
- Comply with legal obligations
How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We do not track users across apps or websites for advertising.
We may share information with:
- Service providers that help us operate EquiScore, such as Firebase and Google Cloud
- Apple services, including Sign in with Apple and iCloud Photos when enabled by the user
- Authorized portal users, such as judges, admins, or users given access to a judging session
- Legal, safety, or compliance parties if required by law or necessary to protect rights, users, or the service
- Successors or affiliates if EquiScore is involved in a business transfer, merger, financing, or acquisition
Third-Party Services
EquiScore may use third-party services, including:
- Apple Sign in with Apple
- Apple Photos and iCloud Photos, depending on the user's device settings
- Firebase Authentication
- Google Cloud and Firebase services, such as Firebase Hosting, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run
These services process information according to their own terms and privacy practices. We are responsible for choosing service providers that can protect user information appropriately for the services they provide to EquiScore.
Children And Younger Riders
EquiScore may be used by riders of any age. Younger riders should use EquiScore with a parent, guardian, trainer, barn, school, or equestrian organization as appropriate.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided information without appropriate permission, contact us at equiscorellc@gmail.com and we will review the request.
Retention
Local recordings and local analysis packages remain on the user's device or in Photos until the user deletes them.
Cloud-uploaded judging sessions and problem reports are retained until deleted by the account owner, an authorized admin, or until they are no longer needed to provide, secure, improve, or support EquiScore.
Account and activity records may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, support, legal, accounting, or operational purposes.
Your Choices
You can:
- Sign out of EquiScore at any time
- Delete your EquiScore account from the Account screen in the app
- Delete local session packages inside the app
- Delete videos from Photos using the Photos app
- Choose whether to include video attachments in problem reports when that option is available
- Control iCloud Photos backup through your Apple device settings
- Disable camera, Photos, or local network permissions in iOS Settings
- Request access or correction of account information by contacting equiscorellc@gmail.com
If EquiScore adds expanded cloud features, related controls may be added in the app or portal.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as EquiScore changes. The updated policy will be posted at https://equiscore.web.app/privacy with a new "Last updated" date.
